Let Me Lie

I received this book from Goodreads as part of a lottery in exchange for a review. I had high hopes for this after reading I Let You Go. I am a Clare Mackintosh fan, but perhaps I am reading too much of her work and getting good at predicting her endings.

I felt like much of the book was slow and the “twists” throughout weren’t too surprising. I will say the final twists were shocking to me, but you have to make it through to get to them. Overall, not my favorite, but it served its purpose as a casual coffee shop read.

This is a good novel for those who want the style of a psychological thriller without scares that will give you nightmares. And hey, sometimes I make predicting the ending a game so you could do that too 🙂
