I’m just your average adoptee and graduate student trying to figure out life.

I was born in China and adopted to the United States when I was six months old. From the ages of 2-22, I was a dancer. My passions shifted towards science and I am currently a PhD candidate in Cell and Molecular Biology.

While science remains one of my biggest passions, I have found a need and drive to advocate for adoptee rights. I began my activism on YouTube and then brought my work to both Instagram and here to LillyFei.com

Aside from activism, I am a lover of all things books. You will find book reviews and recommendations from the perspective of a woman of color and adoptee. I have ventured into writing and am working on edits for a novel draft featuring a transracial adoptee.

I love getting to communicate and share all of my passions with you all and continue connecting with vibrant communities. Whether it be ballet, science, books, etc. I think we all have something valuable to add to the world.
