A movie star is charged with murder and a serial killer is on the jury. What could go wrong? 

I picked this up unaware that it was #4 in a series. Luckily, I don’t feel like I missed much by starting here. This was moderately paced. I found the beginning to be a little slow, but once the trial started, the plot really picked up. While not super graphic and gory, the story was very detailed and well researched. At times, I questioned if the author had personal experience disposing of bodies! 

This was a great thriller and a quick read. I will definitely be checking out the previous books in the series and waiting for the sequels!
