Follow Me | A Thriller That Makes You Re-evaluate Social Media
3.5/5 stars
As an influncer, Audrey is used to living her life on social media. With over a million adoring fans she has no problems with feeling alone. A recent move to Washington DC makes her realize that being alone isn’t the worst thing in the world. Especially when someone begins following you a little too closely.
This was a solid thriller that truly had me creeped out. I hadn’t read a thriller following a social media plotline before which was a nice change. I was able to predict part of the end, but that didn’t break the story for me.
It felt a bit unorganized. There were side characters that just kind of disappeared and hints at new mysteries that didn’t feel entirely relevant. If the story had been streamlined to the main thriller plot, it would have ranked higher for me. If you want a thriller that offers some side stories and relationships, this is definitely for you. I just found myself trying to rush through those parts to get to Audrey’s story.
