Missing My Weekend Vibe

Every weekend, I head out to grab a coffee. On weekdays, I’ll make my own before work, but Saturdays and Sundays are for dressing up and going out.

Of course, quarantine has made that look a bit different for me. Instead of bringing some books and my laptop to get reading and writing done, I stand in line and look around the empty coffee shop filled with stacked tables and chairs. I don’t sit outside because it is 90 degrees Fahrenheit by 11 AM.

I have been enjoying my time at home. I know my pets love it (most of the time). I miss being able to change up my scenery to write, but I also recognize that we all need to do our parts to keep everyone safe.

For now, I will keep dressing up to grab my to-go coffee and having random photoshoots because I miss my typical weekend vibes. Stay safe, everyone!
