Hello, 2024

It’s certainly been too long since I’ve posted here. A lot has changed since we last talked.

I defended my PhD and moved to begin a new career. I’ve been traveling a lot. I’ve been reading a lot. I’ve been photographing a lot. I’ve started new hobbies.

It’s hard to believe how much has changed since my last post in April 2023, but here we are. New Year’s resolutions don’t always stick with me. Maybe this year will be different.

I am trying to get back to reading and reviewing books. I am trying to journal at least twice a week. I am trying to post here once a month. This blog was a collection of all the hobbies I love most, but the pressure to post good content regularly was draining. I am trying to take the same approach I am using for reading with these posts. There should not be pressure. It should not be a chore. If I miss some, it is okay.

Here’s to renewing my love of reading and writing and sharing some cool film photos along the way.
