Louis Vuitton Toiletry 15
Some of you may be aware of my love for high quality, luxury items. I have a small collection that I love using and hope to pass down to my family one day. These pieces are timeless and so fun to use. As I use this blog to share more about some of my other hobbies, I am excited to share my thoughts on some of my investment pieces. So, we begin with the Toiletry 15 🙂
These pouches in all sizes have been sold out everywhere! I remember people struggling to find them as early as 2018. I cannot believe my Client Advisor (CA) pulled it out when I said I was looking to add another small leather good (SLG) to my collection.
I’ve been using it for a few days now, both as a mini clutch and as a cosmetic pouch. I absolutely love it for both. The wipeable leather interior gets rid of any fears of things spilling in it. I can comfortably fit 4-5 lipsticks, feminine products, some bandaids, individually packed eye drops, allergy medicine, mini dental hygiene products, and a mini mascara. When I fill it with these items, the zipper has minimal distortion and I don’t see the canvas straining anywhere.
It can fit a bit more than my mini pochette and using it as a clutch has been a lot of fun. I will put my cardholder, key cles (with about 6 keys, a car key, and a key fob), a lipstick, and some bandaids in it. There is still room to spare for one more small item if I need it. I will hold it from the top or by the little zipper tongue. It’s small enough that I can fit it into some of the bigger pockets of my jackets.
So far, I have not found any issues with the stitching or the glazing. I had some concerns at first–classic canvas pieces are becoming harder to find. The waitlists are long, and people have been hinting that the items would be discontinued. I immediately assumed that because there was a Toiletry 15 available in the store (and the day we bought it was the very first time I had inquired about the piece with my CA) there must be something wrong with it. The zipper is like butter, and I can’t find a stitch out of place. I think I just have a great CA and a lot of luck!
I’m super excited to add this little pouch to my collection (thanks to my super awesome guy). Working hard and budgeting lets us splurge on some more luxurious things in life–and believe it or not, it ends up being a lot cheaper than finding pet sitters and going on weekend vacations!
How do you treat yourself? Do you have any guilty pleasures and collections that excite you?
